About Newman Family Chiropractic
Newman Family Chiropractic is proud to serve the families of Newman and the surrounding communities with safe, effective, and patient-centered chiropractic care.
For more than 23 years, Dr. Patrick McCauley has been dedicated to helping patients improve their health, mobility, and quality of life through personalized chiropractic treatment. Our office is built around creating a welcoming and stress-free environment where patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
At Newman Family Chiropractic, we believe healing happens best in a positive and relaxed atmosphere. That is why we work so hard to create what many patients describe as a “safe space”- a place where you can focus on your health without added stress or pressure. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to improve your overall wellness, our goal is to help you feel your best naturally.
Our Different Approach
At Newman Family Chiropractic, our approach is different from most traditional medical offices because our focus is on identifying and correcting the underlying cause of the problem—not simply masking the symptoms.
Dr. Patrick McCauley performs a thorough evaluation that includes orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examinations, with a strong emphasis on identifying areas of restricted or abnormal movement within the spine. These movement deficiencies can develop from injuries, repetitive motions, poor posture, physical stress, or even emotional stress over time.
When spinal dysfunction is left uncorrected, it can gradually contribute to more serious conditions such as disc injuries, arthritis, chronic pain, muscle imbalance, and sciatica. Many of these problems develop slowly over the course of years and are often temporarily masked with medications, allowing the underling condition to continue progressing.
Our goal is to restore healthy movement and proper biomechanics to the spine. Improving motion within restricted spinal segments can help reduced unnecessary pressure on disc and joints, improve overall function, and decrease the stress the contributes to premature wear and tear on the body. By addressing these issues early, patients often experience improved mobility, better posture, reduced pain, and a higher quality of life.
Can Your Health Condition Be Helped With Chiropractic?
Chronic back pain, chronic neck pain, sciatica, headaches, stiffness, poor posture, and many musculoskeletal conditions are often linked to improper movement within the spine. Over time, stress, injuries, repetitive movements, and daily wear and tear can cause the joints of the spine to lose their normal motion, leading to pain, tension, inflammation, and decreased function.
At the core of chiropractic care is the belief that better health begins with a healthy, properly moving spine. Chiropractic focuses on identifying and correcting movement deficiencies within the spinal joints to help restore normal motion, improve function, and support the body’s natural ability to heal and perform at its best.
For decades, chiropractic has remained one of the most commonly chosen forms of alternative healthcare for people seeking relief from chronic pain and looking for a more natural, non-invasive approach to better health. Rather than simply masking symptoms, chiropractic care aims to address underlying mechanical problems that may be contributing to discomfort and dysfunction.
If you are suffering from chronic back pain, neck pain, sciatic pain, or other spinal-related conditions and are looking for a chiropractor, schedule a no-cost consultation today to find out if chiropractic care may be right for you.
Dr. McCauley's Vision
Chronic back pain is far more serious than most people realize. Nearly 85% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lives, and more than half of those individuals are still suffering with pain five years later. Unfortunately, many people are told that their pain is “normal aging,” “just a pulled muscle,” or something they simply have to live with. The reality is that pain is NOT normal.
Too often, back pain is misdiagnosed or temporarily covered up with medications that mask symptoms without ever addressing the underlying cause. While pain relief may provide temporary comfort, the real problem frequently continues to worsen over time. Many patients later discover they have developed conditions such as degenerative disc disease, chronic spinal instability, arthritis, or nerve irritation that could have potentially been slowed or prevented with proper spinal care earlier in life.
The spine is designed to move properly. When a spinal segment loses normal motion or function, abnormal stress is placed on the joints, muscles, ligaments, and especially the spinal discs. Over time, this increased stress creates premature wear and tear on the spine, much like driving a vehicle with poor alignment. Left untreated, these movement deficiencies can progressively damage the spine and negatively impact a person’s overall health, mobility, sleep, work performance, and quality of life.
This is why chiropractic care is so important. Chiropractic is focused on locating and correcting movement deficiencies within the spine to restore proper function and reduce abnormal stress on the body. Rather than simply masking symptoms, chiropractic care aims to address the mechanical cause of many spinal conditions before they become more serious and chronic.
"I have done to medical doctors my whole life, told that they knew best. Well, they do know how to prescribe drugs to cover up the problems but not address why the problems happen. This is Where Dr. Pat has not only helped with my pain but also my outlook on health and the power of body."
